Green eggs

Yup...we now get one brown egg and one green egg a day. :) Blackie just started to lay eggs and so far we have gotten 2. Soon we will no longer have to buy eggs! Yah! Unfortunately, both chickens are laying their eggs UNDER the nesting boxes and not in them...that means I need to use something to pull them out gently as there is no easy access to that part of the coop. Twice I have had to send Melody into the coop as Betty laid her egg on the ledge in the corner and I could not ready it.

We go to 2 homeschool groups. One meets every Friday (6 weeks on and 2 weeks off...then we will be off for 2 months or so because of the weather) and the other meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month. Here are some photo of the 3 kids at the Monday group.
