I talked to my dad this morning....they are still in the house and are OK. He said that part of the roof is gone (entryway area) and that one of the places in Applington brought plywood so that they could board up the windows and also put plastic on the roof so that there will be less damage inside. They still have not seen Patches (one of their 2 cats) so think that she is gone at this point. All 3 of the vehicles are damaged, but are drivable. They were just on the edge of the area that is flattened (their house was next to the high school football field....they can watch the games from their back yard). Dad also said that he knows that there are 7 deaths so far.
Owen was able to get ahold of my friend Carla and they are fine (they live a few miles south of town). They have no damage there.
