Here are some photos of Emily's quilt. It is part of a homeschool unit project (Five in a Row's "The Rag Coat" unit). Emily picked out the cloth and then arranged it as she wanted. I did the sewing. Today she is the the 'quilting' part of the project (using a needle she is pulling yard through the 2 sides and then tying it). Hopefully in the next year or so, she will start leaning how to sew (on the sewing machine). She really wants to learn, but is a little to short to reach the petal yet. Our homeschool "Leah' group is planning a 'gallery night' and we will be displaying it at that time.
